How to Fix Meta Quest 3 Not Recognized for Boosting
If your Meta Quest 3 is not being recognized for boosting, it may be due to the device using a random MAC address. This can lead to connectivity issues with HYPEREV or our plugins.
To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:
- Turn on your Meta Quest 3.
- Open Settings - Wi-Fi.
- Select the Wi-Fi network you wish to connect to (this could be the HYPEREV network) and tap to access Advanced Settings.
- Scroll down and tap "Use randomized MAC (Default)" to switch the setting to "Use device MAC." Then, enter the Wi-Fi password.
- After switching to "Use device MAC," your VR device will be properly recognized and will be able to connect to the network and access the boosting services as intended.
